The shoe design took inspiration from current trends, particularly the chunky styles popularised by brands like Balenciaga and Dolce & Gabbana. I experimented with an abstract approach to overlapping materials, sketching patterns within boxes to create a unique aesthetic. The shoe's design aimed to evoke a utilitarian feel, inspired by festival and rave attire.

Through my research, I discovered that people prefer shoes versatile enough for multiple occasions, unlike other clothing items they might wear only once. This insight influenced my design, making the shoe suitable for both festival wear and daily use.

Additionally, I designed an attachment for the shoe that transforms it into an extreme rave shoe. This attachment not only provides durability and protection against various environments but also offers customisation options. Different styled covers can be purchased, allowing users to express their individual personalities while ensuring their shoes remain functional and stylish.
